Key FOB/ Valet Key WONT WORK...... HELP!
Hey Fellas, I need some help.
I have a 2005 C230 Komp
My Key FOB doesn't work, as of last night.
This morning I tried to open the Driver door and the Valet (Metal key) does not unlock the driver door!
The Valet key DOES open the trunk.
How can i unlock my car?
Is there another access point?
I'll order a new FOB later, I need to get into the car NOW.
(Yes I will call AAA, later)
I'm asking the great MB Braintrust for some help/advice before doing anything else.
Suggestions?

The metal key should open the driver door unless your door lock has been changed. Try again, using the metal key is purely mechanical, no electrical components involved. If it hasn't been used in a while the lock may just be difficult to turn...spray some WD on the key and keep at it.
Also, with these cars a second key is pretty much a must..

Dont you have rear flip down seats? Cant you crawl in that way? maybe the C230 k does not.
Are you sure its not just the FOB battery?
a note to all owners... as above... keep your lock lubed .. seen a few posts here with stuck locks due to non use for years and years.
