So, I had the message "Coolant! Visit workshop" come on and my car started to wanting to overheat. I took it to a mechanic and he witnessed the message. He then turned on my car and rev'd my engine for a long time... causing my car to reach the red bar for the coolant. Was that necessary for him to do that? Now my car has the coolant fan turned on high which sounds like a jet and my car is now seeming to run sluggish. Was he in the wrong for doing that? And now what does it mean that my fan is running on high speed?
