bearing noise when cruising
hi guys
my car is c200 k coupe 2001.
when cruising ( when going at one/same speed ) f.e. at 80kmh i hear a noise of bearing from underneeth the car. as i release accelerator sound dissapears , also if i push accelerator noise dissapears. noise presents only at cruising speed, when car runs in ,,relaxed'' / aconomy condition, when cars speed perfectly matches accelerator lvl.
i have changed fluid in differential thought it would be better a little thicker 75-90 gl5 lotos but everything stays the same.
now i think maby it is bearing thats located outside differential ( not in the sectian where oil is )...
i called my mechanic who told me that with thois sound car can run million km's and there is nothing to worry about. he also confirmed ,my thought about bearing. he told me not to change dif oil but i still did as it wasnot full and it was already terrible.
so have u guys ever faced the same problem ? if yas, what it was ?
