Whistle Under Slight Acceleration
Hey guys, recently have had an issue with my c320 that when I accelerate slightly (1500-2500 rpm) I get a whistle noise coming from the engine. Ive had someone rev it a little and it sounds like it is coming from around the secondary air pump area. Got a new pump and replaced it and it didn’t help...checked all the vacuum lines there and they seem to be okay...manifold related? If I get on the gas pretty fast, the whistle is almost unnoticeable...maybe that because of my exhaust....Any idea? Thanks

I originally thought it was the alternator so I put a new alternator and that didn’t fix the issue. The idler puller is fairly new and the power steering pump and ac Pulley are new. The pulleys with the belt off don’t make much noise at all...it sounds like it’s coming from the area under front engine cover on m112s. But it’s not the air pump I believe cause I replaced that and that hasn’t helped. Also I’ve noticed that it is much more pronounced when the car is cold...after a long drive (I.e. coming back to school from home, 1 hr highway driving) the noise is barely even noticeable. I want to try and get a video up soon of the noise.
