Got my first ticket....
) and she took it like a champ, then comes another 1/4mile straight away that is a 35mph speed limit(that should be a crime in itself) i'm still doing about 70+ as I come out of the bend and there is the f@#$ing pig with his damn radar gun. Luckily I was able to decellerate to 59mph(awesome brakes
) and that's when he clocks me and pulls me over. I'm really not mad at him it's just that when it rains it pours, and I deserved it
Oh well just wanted to share my experience with you all however sad it may be. I love my car!!!
I find myself at 85 all the time and I never drive over 70.

It's because the car is so smooth and quiet.

By the way. Do the police in US still uses Radar??? Our cops uses laser-guns.
You were the one speeding. He was just doing his job.

Its almost too smooth and quiet. My first thought when I got the car was "damn, it will be hard keeping my licence in this one..." Sofar I've been lucky though...

some of the newer police cars come with laser.

good thing i didnt get pulled over, cause 105 is go to jail territory, dont pass go, and dont collect $200
on my way to new orleans during spring break i got my integra to 128, somewhere in mississippi. bad bad
Flashman i know that, that's why i said later that i wasn't mad at him just had one of those days. For the most part i like cops, just every once in awhile you get those bad eggs that spoil the basket. I have 3 relatives in law enforcement, so like i said i don't have anything against them, i didn't even try arguing with him, just took the ticket and on my way i was.
I got a ticket in Virginia back in December while going home to Miami to visit Mami. When my Bel went off I was clocking 135 on the speedometer. So the police officer comes up to the car and says "You know I clocked you doing ninety miles an hour son, in (West by God) Virginia 89 miles an hour is considerd wreckless driving". I was so fsking dumbfounded all I could think to say was really!, 90 mph, wow!.
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
one time....i was pulled over and short asian lady (little over stuffed with donuts) walked over, flashing her "flashy" lights over my face and asked me the classic question.
and she had the most toughest voice and accent i've ever heard...
"Mr. Kim, do u know how fast u were going?" (looked into the computer i guess)
"uh.....i think i was going about 75~80 varying...." actual was 90
"it's not nice and safe for u to drive that speed, give me ur license."
(looking at license and the registration) "Just because i'm asian, don't expect me to let u go!"
"here u go.......i'm sorry (i wasn't really but just had to show...) but i'll try to watch my speed next time."
"Because u drive nice and expensive car, u can speed." <---this was not expected...
"yeah, i was trying to finish my job and i was so tired....and just wanted to go home.......=( "
(looking at my thick *** folder) "alright, i'll let u off this time, tickets are very expensive these days, however next time u'll be a toast, u understand?"
"oh yes officer. i'll be more careful from now on. thank you very much."
that was my story........i guess i was lucky to be caught by asian officer .........or the way i was answering the questions...pohahaha
