2002 MB C320 Won't start, fans runs!

2002 MB C320; I have been chasing a battery drain problem which I have not solved yet. Removed all fuses and relays, unplugged seat motors etc. I gave it a rest for a couple of days, with the battery disconnected so it would not drain out. Went back to it now it will not crank over and the fan runs on high speed when trying to start it. I removed the ECM looked inside it and it had some minor corrosion which I cleaned up. Still the same problem! Any suggestions?

I have had 115 views and no suggestions, wow not good. It was recommended that I change the ECM, I just did that and it made no difference. Now what?

Generally when you have no communication with the engine control module, the fan will run on high. There is a good chance that whatever caused the corrosion on your ECM circuit board, also shorted out and killed the ECM.
