Headlight replacement troubles
Headlights on Golflady's 2007 C230 Sport have always sucked. Finally they have become so cloudy, I decided to replace them with some I found on Amazon.
Long story short. After 2 tries, with 2 different new assemblies, the driver's side replacement will not work. No turn signal. No low beams. No high beams.
Original driver's side works fine. Replacement on the passenger side works fine and is far superior.
Vendor says replacement assembly was tested before shipping.
Any ideas?

If so, it seems simple to see what the problem is.
Swap headlights, see what they do.
If the pass-headlight does work on the driver's side, and the driver's-headlight doesn't work on the pass side, then it's a bad driver's-headlight.
If the pass-headlight also doesn't work on the driver's side, but the drivers-headlight works on the pass side, then it may be the SAM (MB headlight driver).
Good Luck!
I wondered if there was a module that wouldn't allow it to work. Did unplug the passenger side and tried the drivers side by itself. No luck there either.
Figured this would have been an issue with others but see nothing on the reviews.
Thanks for the help. Will try another brand, I guess.

Noticed that some replacements are for 2001-05. Others 06-07. Seller description stated that the replacements would work on an '07 but I wonder.
Fitment may be the same but did the electrics change in 2006?
Thanks again...
