Combination SAS/Clock Spring Replacement - What is this screw/bolt?
Hi all,
Planning on replacing my combination SAS/Clock Spring this week.
Secondhand replacement part ordered and arrived. Just a question to the experts out there.
What is the screw/bolt which is circled in red in the picture below for(not my pic, and it was downloaded from the web, but the part is exactly the same)? When I pulled out my combo SAS/clockspring, it didn't have this screw/bolt. I am pretty sure this is not the locking pin, as it is normally a red plastic tab.
What is this for, and do I just yank it out if it is not required?
Many thanks.
