Exclamation W203 C220cdi OM646 OIL LEVEL ON DIPSTICK

OM646 150bhp C220 CDI SE engine (2007): There's NO dipstick in this engine and I cannot trust the life of my engine solely to an electronic sensor - this is such a crazy crazy idea!! so I have bought an actual dipstick tool to check my oil (MB part number : 120.589.07.21.00 with graduations in millimetres). The tip of the stick goes all the way down to touch the bottom of the sump (oil pan) and I get a reading of 150mm from the tip (hot engine) when I * think * the sump is near to full. Could someone please tell me the *ACTUAL* official max. and min. dipstick readings for this engine because I can't find these confirmed anywhere.
Update 23/05/18 - I now believe from a couple of aricles I've just found online that the max. dipstick level is 145mm (hot) & min. level is 120mm (hot). This equates to 56.5cm below the top of the dipstick tube for max. (hot) & 59cm at the min. level. I wonder could someone who knows please confirm these figures?
Further update!! 14/06/18 - I've now found an official MB workshop chart BF10.00-P-1000-03OA which specifies that for my OM646.963 exact engine type the max. level is 163mm & min. level is 139mm. Apparently the OM646.961 & OM646.966 engine variants also have the same specification.
** To verify this I'll let the oil level naturally drop to139mm over the next few 1000's of miles and see if I get the warning on the computer. Watch this space.....

Cheers,
Alan
