722.6 transmision conductor plate...
I recently replaced the conductor plate & solenoids on a 03 C240. Its still in limp mode & Im getting a P0749 code. Ive checked the values from the TCM for the pressure control solenoids & both are at 6ohms (within specs) Will having someone with MB STAR ( or comparable) erase any stored codes possibly fix the issue? any help would be greatly appreciated... That code needs to be cleared in the TCM, not the ECU. Get an icarsoft i980 or MB2 and you'll have the tool to diagnose and clear any code in your car for less than the cost of one trip to the dealer.

I just ordered the icarsoft MB II shortly after my first post. You're right.... it was $20 cheaper than one visit to the dealer & next time I'll be equipped to handle it myself... mbworld.org & it's members are AWESOME! Thand again...
