Is 2nd hand engine M272, serial # 272 922 306 384 97 compatible in C230 mod 2006
Hi , I would like to buy this motor m272 with the number 272 922 306 384 97 to put it in my car C230, mod. 2006, fitted with m272 e25, 2500 cc , I am keeping the car s original gearbox.
Does the new motor which is supposed to be 3500cc fit normally to my car , gearbox and corona without problems?
And can I use the old engine control unit on top of the old engine .
The new engine m272 e35 has this serial number:
272 922 306 384 97
I don't know whether it had direct injection or not ,my m272 e25 original engine didn't
