C-spot coupon....what's the catch?
Are there any downsides of using the C-spot coupon or is it simply $1500 cash with no strings attached? Any type of savings we can't get if we use the coupon? I'd like to hear about the experiences of fellow MBWorld members using their C-spot coupons.

I just used the coupon last night. The only stipulation on the coupon is that you finance with MB but on my deal they financed it through a bank instead so that must not be a hard and fast rule. Also you can not use it towards anything other than a new C class except the AMG models. All in all I paid about $7K below sticker or $25K for a 2004.5 C230L sedan.

I would not be suprised if they call you back to rewrite the contract! When the C-spot first came out, we tried a different bank using it and MBUSA would not reimburse us the money!!

Buellwinkle needs to post photos of his new ride as soon as he gets it.
I would assume that his pulley would be for sale soon
His Coupe is FAST for very little money he put in. Of course he spent TONS of money on dynos and wrenching to get it that way.
The best thing is he is joining the ranks of M271 engine owners.
I am hoping he will help me when I get my new improved intercooler

My C230K (not L) sedan is trapped in our local mall as a display and they said they would get it out this morning but security wouldn't let it out without a signed letter from the property manager but by the time they got the letter it was too late and the mall opened so I have to wait until tomorrow morning, arghhh!
Took out the CD changer, XM Roady and Audio 10 so I can put that in the new car. Took out the Renntech muffler so that's available. I'll work on the pulley and ITG airfilter now. I'll likely reuse the AMG sways. As for the Eibach springs, they'll cost me more for labor and realignment than they are worth. Haven't decided to sell the 05 taillights or leave them in, maybe a selling point as they look great.

yes, you can. they would just deduct the $1500 off the total. i paid for mine all up front witha a cheack, and they still took $2500 rebate off the total cost of the vehicle. i took a loan from my credit union, was pre-approved so i went int there and just wrote a check for the total cost fo the car.

No, the dealer cannot bypass the MB financing. My dealer tried and got caught so they had to redo the paperwork. It clearly states on the coupon that MB financing is required. Also there's a $15K minimum or they get charged a penalty so don't expect to finance less like I wanted. But there's no pre-payment penalty according to the dealer so you can finance the minimum and then pay it back when the bill comes.
Here's the pic....

Called the local dealer here yesterday to inquire on MB finance rates to make sure the coupon is worth the MB finance route, and I was told MB just came up with 2.9% for 60 month term on C- and M- class models. This is definitely better than the best local local rate of 3.4%. So it's good news while this limited offer last, not sure for how long!

From what I was told today, the coupon is used like a rebate, meaning it's deducted after the final price of the car, after adding tax & license. And they offer 3.44% financing for the C230K while C240 has 3.09% up to 60 months.

2004.5 240 Wagon
C-spot coupon worked like a rebate for me too.
Had to pay tax and license on the $1500.
I think because they want to get rid of wagons, they got me into the 1.9% financing. So that made up for having to pay tax on the C-cpot!!
.... Yeah, I'm the sucker who bought a wagon, but it's the little lady's car.
Do they have a G-Spot coupon for the G-500?

its not even just cut and paste. you went into the source code and copied the entire table with the coding. by the way i changed my mind. there are too many people using my images thus a lot of traffic is going through my friends server. so im going to make everyone pay. sorry. if you dont like it you can cancel your auction and change your description.
