Talking 450,000KMS on my C180

Hi Guys,

I finally hit the 450,000km mark on my 2001, C180 (non compressor). I've had the car since 2003. No major issues experienced with the car.
Besides normal service maintenance, the only major thing done was timing chain.
Car drives almost just as good as the day I bought it. Still has the original clutch.

Current issues:
Error code P0410 (cannot seem to find what's causing this)
Oil vapor smell when windows are down. This only happens around 80KMS. After 120KMS there is no smell

The car is garaged and polished twice a year. So I saw it fitting to have her polished today for achieving 450,000KMS

280,000 miles to others. Original clutch too and that's with a tow bar. Exelent. My car is only 80,000 so hopefully loads of motoring in front of me.

Nice to hear Donald. Mine is running near 139,000 kms = [ 86,000miles] so we are about the same. I use now & again so not
my main car but very happy with it. Parts I can now import via ebay UK as too expensive in NZ & just bought a lower front ball joint arm
& rear brake cables to replace. Hope I can get the distance too..............

Car looks great for the miles! My 2005 C240 has close to 300,000 miles as well. (450,000 KMS)

The C240--must remember to buy a later model next time but am happy with my smaller C200 coupe. Good to know all the same.

Regarding P0410 Since you are non Kompressor then as mentioned, it could be air pump or any hoses associated.
