Hi. I have I w203 c180 and love the car. I was driving on the motorway when the timing chain tensioner gave in and the chain slipped I had a replacement c180 engine put in but ever since this the engine will not crank. Everything works as it should..... radio, horn, lights, windows, locks...... when I put the key in it unlocks the steering lock and when turned all ignition lights come on but the last turn there is nothing what so ever. The starter just is not kicking in. I have removed and tested every fuse in the car, I have changed all relays under the bonnet. I love the car and would rather keep her on the road rather scrap her and buy another.
Please could someone advise where to look now.
