2002 C240 Wiring and A/C Issue
Hello All,
First Post! I was looking at a C240 that I recently acquired through a family member and I really need some help with the wiring, I am at my wits end. In the front left fender well, I have some broken wires that I cannot trace back to where they go, it seems I am missing a connector. What I have is a larger gauge red/blue wire coming down from the headlight area that is cleanly broken, there is also a thinner gauge gray/white wire coming down from the same harness. There is a larger gauge brown wire and a smaller gauge brown wire coming off of the main frame ground that is ripped off as well. There are two, two wire connectors that are the exactly the same one is obviously for the washer pump, the other I am not sure about. One connector has a purple/yellow wire and a brown, one has a yellow/red wire and a brown. The harness that is in this area contains wiring for the fan, washer pump, left fog light and ac switch. For some context, the fan works, only if I unplug the temperature sensor for the coolant (I am waiting on a replacement sensor now) and the A/C does not blow cold, and the fan does not come on when just the A/C is on so that leads me to believe some of the wiring for the switch is messed up. However, I have not been successful trying to find a wiring diagram for any of these components to properly diagnose. I am hoping somewhere here might have some info that will help or even maybe a diagram, if you do, please please please let me know, any help is appreciated. Thank You!
