2003 c240 4matic wagon fuel line broke neeed help!
changing my winter to summer tires today and I could smell gas at the LR wheel so I looked around and noticed the fuel filter was wet dropped the cover and sure enough the line that feeds the engine has rusted through ABOVE the fuel tank...
there is no way I am dropping it so I cut the fuel line just in front of the tank and flared the end I plan on buying rubber fuel line hose but I doubt I will be able to run it above the tank so it will have to go under unless one of you has a better idea
car has 200Km rusting pretty bad and I am NOT spending any more money on it car owes me nothing
in the pic its the line on the left looks braided

well it was raining and 2C out this morning car was on driveway with no way to move it so I got wet really wet I was able to run a rubber line under/beside fuel tank from filter to line to engine proper fuel rate hose an clamps seems to be fine after 20km drive all fixed for $20.00 worth of hose and clamps
