Intermittent electrical fault
Hi guys sorry I'm a new poster and have an issue if I'm in the wrong forum etc please let me know.
My baby has started doing one of three things on startup.
1. Everything works fine and she starts up.
2. She starts and the windows and dash won't work (including speedometer fuel etc)
3. She won't start at all.
It's really random as to what happens she is getting on a bit and I have been advised it could be either sam(fuse box) or something behind the steering collum. It's my first car and I'm not very car literate.
I would like to keep her but the fella said we would have to replace one at a time untill we find the problem. Unfortunately she isn't worth all that much so it's not worth this trial and error.
Any one got any ideas?
