That's great to hear!

Here you go. The TCC solenoid only fits one spot. You might also consider doing the Sonnax damper sleeve kit at the same time.

Car going into limp mode again

I’m back again... after replacing the conductor plate and the TCC it started slipping again about 2 days ago. Got the 2502 and the 220A codes all over again and I’m frustrated. Could it be because i didn’t put enough ATM in it? I drained 4.5 but didn’t include the ATM on the ground and what leaked from the car. I’m starting to feel like it’s becoming a money pit. I love my car but i May have to sell it. PLEASE HELP!

Did you check the ATF level with the engine running and the transmission at operating temp?

I did after I first changed it. I reset the codes the first time and it drove fine up until i hit the drive thru at Wendy’s. Probably about an hour. Then it stalled. But it took like 15 mins for the CEL to come on. I cleared the codes again last night but i drove my friends car and let it sit.

How did it stall? Was the car moving or stopped? Did it lurch forward when it stalled?

It was stopped at a redlight but in drive. I pressed the gas and it just reved up with no acceleration. I turned the car off and then turned it off again and same thing. It didn’t lurch forward that i can remember.

Hey is there anything you can think of to be the culprit?

Update: so i had my car off for a few days. I drove it today and i noticed a whining sound as the transmission heated up. The gears jerked a little as well. So i checked the transmission fluid level, and it was on the last line of the 80 mark. I’m going to add another quart and see if that makes a difference. Any help?

I added more transmission fluid and the transmission is still slipping. Could it be the solenoids? Please tell me i don’t need a new transmission.... I am at a loss here.

Same problem ,same error codes..

Hi ..
Thanks to you , that I have solved same above problem in my car c230k..
I just followed the advices you offered to get rid of limp mode with same errors above mentioned..
I really did not go to any mechanic for fixing..
I did not trust , because everyone one tells different story to get more works and must money out of it..
before I crossed with this blog, I started
with dismantling Conductor plate , cleaning valves body , Check valves .. changing ATF (5L).

After that ,Still having same problem ( limp mode).
Went to open gear shifter to inspect ,, nothing to find..
Than I opened the TCM to see if oil leaked to there,, it was clean..

Than , I went to check forums in websites.. to find your remarks of DELETING THE ERROR CODES..
no sooner I did it , than everything went good.

Thank you for the info.
