2nd gear drive to dealership; R Lock speed sensor

Hello
Does anyone know if I drive 10 miles (to get my transmission programmed) in 2nd gear (limp mode?) will anything overheat or wear abnormally? Just installed a new valve body/conductor plate?. Have 07 c230

Does anyone know if the speed sensors in the wheels are what ultimately tells the shftter you're going less than x mph to avoid R Lock in the shifter? (Or speed sensors in the valve body/conductor plate.)

Trying to fix the R Lock dilema of not being able to go into reverse from nuetral. I've tried new shifter, brake pressure sensor, brake controller, brake pump, adjusting the shifter linkage and now a new valve body and conductor plate.

Attached is the R Lock info as opposed to P Lock where the brake has to be depressed. I have a w203, guess its the same

Thx
