Hey guys! Just did a trans fluid/filter change on my 03 c240 wagon with 250k. There is now slipping between 3 and 4. This was the first fluid change done for this trans due to the "sealed for life" garbage. I want to get it reflashed to see if it's just the new fluid causing issues. I've already reset the TCU/ECU via the gas pedal function. Just wondering what I am going to have to pay for a star trans reset/reflash. Thanks!

Just keep driving it. It will re adapt.

That was about 6k miles ago. I am starting to question if I need a rebuild. If the CEL isn't on, could the trans still show codes on a star analysis?

A $100 icarsoft scan tool will read and erase all the codes in the transmission computer. A $150 foxwell scan tool will do all that plus reset or manual adjust all the adaptations and do some coding.
