Name this bolt?
hello to all
Today I wanted to take out my siren box as it started to chirp on doing so I noticed a nut and bolt missing.
I’m not sure how long it’s been missing but from the dirt around the hole I’d say a little while.
I’ve looked all over the net trying to find the name or part no but can’t find any information on the part I need and it’s seems like a major bolt that needs to be replaced ASAP.
It’s a c class w203 2003
The bolt is connecting the top of the hub to the shock.
If you could tell me the part no or how I could locate one I’d be truly thankful.

Knuckle to strut bolt. Do you have any clunking or knocking sounds? Surprising to see this missing, and not have steering issues or suspension noises.
A dealer can easily source it for you.
It is clearly shown at 1:00 in this video:
I checked on mercedesbenzstarparts.com and FCP Euro and didn't find the specific bolt.

Thanks for the info and checking. Yes I’m surprised to and having driven quite a few motorway miles I feel lucky that nothing bad happened.
do dealerships have diagrams that I can look at or do I just take the pictures and show them? I can’t find a part number anywhere on the net.

They will know exactly what you need. They have diagrams, parts lists, anything you can imagine. They can source it for you. If you are mechanically inclined, find a high grade bolt, nut and washer of the equivalent size.
