New to me 2004 C240 Wagon questions
>Driver door says it is open all the time & the door lock doesn't work. I am thinking actuator?
>Serpentine belt tensioner is noisy and vibrates a bit. Is this as straight forward as replacing the tensioner & belt?
>The key remote function only works at super close range, and the other key doesn't work at all... Do not know if this is normal or dead remote batteries? Any advice welcomed.
> What is a good parts source for these? I have used FCP Euro in the past for my many many Volvo's and I know they sell MB stuff too. Any other places I should look?
> are there any common fail points or maintenance issues that I should specifically pay attention to? (IE timing/ ignition components, fluids & filters etc) I haven't had a chance to go over it very much yet, hopefully in the next week or so. It will likely need some suspension work as I doubt any of that has been changed.
> also, how do I determine if this car was equipped with the Sport Suspension?
Thanks in advance for any and all advice & suggestions! Looking forward to playing with my first MB!

>serp belt tension is very easy. Look up m112 engine there's plenty of write-ups.
>key fob battery
>Amazon is usually cheaper and much faster shipping than FCP. Read the fine print, fcp's warranty is BS
>engine mounts, transmission mount, ATF heat exchanger in the radiator.
>US/Canada wagons were never offered a sport sustension. You need to swap it from another W203/w209. Really tranaforms the car.
Welcome to the forum, good luck

When you say door switch, I assume you mean the entire striker assembly? PN 203 720 01 35 comes up on a google search.
