My C230 does not have a factory fitted alarm, i need alarm with my benz FOB
I just bought a C230 Kompressor 2004 model, and it does not have a factory fitted alarm system, How do i add an add on alarm and still use the benz FOB without using an additional remote. I stay in a place where i need shock sensor to alert me when someone tries to remove a part from my car.
Who can recommend a motion sensor dash camera that can record exterior and interior of the car.
Kindly help, thank you.

I don't think there's an easy way. The non-alarm fobs are missing some chips iirc. You're probably looking at a new set of keys with the alarm button, assuming the dealer will allow for such programming.
There's a factory interior motion sensor system that can be retrofitted, but that requires the car to already have a functioning alarm system (same problem as above).

I can buy another FOB with alarm button, but the car does not have a functioning alarm system fitted by mercedes benz, if there was a factory interior motion sensor system i would love to know how to use the new FOB keys i buy with the motion sensor system.

You're missing the point. The fob from another car cannot be transferred to work with your car (talking about the circuit board, not the casing). Otherwise stealing cars would become trivial.
The only option is to buy a new key from the dealership, and I'm pretty sure the dealer will only issue keys that match your original configuration (ie no alarm button). They are very tight on this procedure for obvious reasons. Besides the missing chips in the fob, I would imagine there are missing electronic bits required for the alarm system in your car as well, which then have to be somehow paired with the key. In other words, pretty much impossible without having some serious dealership or factory connections.

Thank you for the explanation.
Maybe i should have checked if the car had alarm system before buying it and shipping from canada, i just have to drive it like this, there many thieves who go about stealing ECUs , batteries and other parts around here.

The alarm is located in the right front fender. You need to remove the rear part of the fender liner to see it. It is susceptible to water damage, and it is possible that your’s failed.

The alarm was standard in the U.S., but possibly not in other countries. Check on your dash,.... that row of buttons above the radio where the emergency flasher is. Do you have a alarm deactivation - tow truck hook up icon? If so, you have a factory OEM alarm. If not, you don't.

That appears to confirm that you don’t have a factory alarm system. I think your best option will be to install an after market system. I understand that won’t be as elegant a solution as integrating a system with your factory key fob unless the after market system can be set and turned off with the lock and unlock signal from the the fob. Consider searching for auto audio and electronics forums to see whether they can suggest a product.
