i am facing strange issue with my w203 c200 k 2002 stereo..
when ever i insert cd it display loading for a second and suddenly shows "CDS ERR" without even rotating the cd and turns back to radio.i tried many different kind of discs... orignals and cd-r both but no luck.. please any help will be appreciated.

I had the same problem as you on my Mercedes Benz C220 with the Audio 10 same as the photo you shared.
The way that I fixed this problem is very simple. You should remove the radio from (you can find tutorials online on how to remove if you don't know how to do it) and after removing the radio you can take the top cover of the radio using only your hands because there isn't any screw that holds it.
After removing the top cover of the radio I took a long and thin screwdriver and taped a little bit of cotton on the screwdriver's tip. Then I dipped cotton on alcohol and with that screwdriver, you should reach the lens of the cd player. It has a small opening on the top of the radio where you can reach with the screwdriver the lens to clean it. Make sure to be gentle and don't apply too much force. After cleaning it let it rest for about 2 minutes and the alcohol evaporates. Then reconnect the radio and CD should be working again.
