(w203) 2005 c230 k sport sedan post control arm change issue
After changing my control arms the steering will not return to the center when I let it go. could it be the alignment?

What control arm did you change?
Regardless-
Alignment it pretty guaranteed as long as you didn’t use a new eccentric pin kit, reused same bolt lobe location and torqued it all to spec under speed (drive) load, or, chained it down...you need a full tank of gas too, and the suspension has to be in drive mode. A full alignment should not be needed if you followed WIS, only a check.
I’d say a proper shop can help you.

all solved !
I got an alignment and it was because the toe was off since I replaced both upper and lower on both sides the issue is now gone !
