recirculate button doesn't close moonroof?

i thought that that may be the issue. actually, i really hadn't tested the smart key open all/close all feature either. i wonder if the close all has similar issues. only one way to find out...
i wonder if its a programming issue?
it doesn't really bother me if its missing. just sort of curious about it.
The recirc on my sedan closes everything... BUT the right rear window. Hum? Also, if the sunroof is open (retracted), the recirc will close it, but if the sunroof is tilted up, instead, recirc will NOT close it (tilt close). These are issues on my fix list.
Point is, recirc appears to work on MOST of my glass, but not all, just like yours. I imagine there's a board that needs diagnosing and replacement.
didn't think it would be a defect. i'll check.- 5 minutes pass -
the manual states that only the power windows will go up/down w/ the recirc. button. so it works as its supposed to. i should read the manual more.

MB-BOB, that happened with my left rear window once. Check the owner's manual for re-syncing the windows. I think you open and close it and hold the switch in the close position for 4 seconds (something like that). Once I re-synced the one window, it worked fine again. You will see that that particular window also will not go up if you activate the "one-touch" via the driver switch for that window. Even if you pull the switch to the "second" position, the window will refuse to close all the way until you re-sync it. That's how I realized that the recirc button simply activates the one-touch for each window and roof.

Closeing the sunroof and windows are part of the tunnel feature. It only works on car with the micro filter switch on the ac controls.

Also, if you use the smartkey remote to close everything, the reason you have to hold the button in that case is because it does not use the one-touch close feature for the windows and roof. It just operates as though you were holding the control switches for each of the windows and roof.
Renncpe, try it on your C230. Open the windows, then press and hold "recirc" for at least 2 seconds. You can release the button as soon as the windows begin closing. You will see that they then close as though you activated the one-touch close on the individual window switches.
