Hi, does anyone here experience this problem before? When i insert key, the eis does not recognize my key, no sound as before. Removed the eis and send my EIS to key speacialist, they cornfirmed my EIS and key is ok. I narrowed dows the problem to steering lock (ESL) .
Bought ESL bypass emulator but still the key wont turn. Appreciate advice from anyone with similar issues (blown fuse 31 + key wont turn) This is the esl bypass emulator connected to esl socket
1) Sent the EIS & ESL (need to send the complete steering column with the ESL attached) 2) EIS repaired 3) ESL was confirmed mulfunction 4) Tested pair EIS with 'ESL bypass emulator' - result ok
Decided to use 'ESL bypass emulator' instead replace the ESL
