AMG brakes installed finally
I finally installed my AMG brake kit which was sitting in my closet for a long time. I did the job myself. Took me 2 hours for both sides. Took lots of pictures. There will be a complete HOW TO write up with pictures on www.installuniversity.com

no i havent actually mearsured it, but it does feel alot harder. also when going like 90mph on the freeway and getting on an offramp, then hitting the brakes, they seem to really make a difference. im not sure how big of a difference, but there really seems to be one there. the rotors and calipers are alot larger than the stock one from the coupe.

Good job SUNMAN !
AMG Brembo's are nice looking, and like CitronC230K_03 says, you can definitely feel the difference. Maybe because we both drive COUPES, the increased braking-power feel is greater, compared to the stock MB brakes. I never measured the braking distance at a set speed with my stock MB brakes; I guess I could use what MB says they are from their specs sheet. Then I would have to go out and test, with the same factors of speed & distance, with my AMG C32 brakes.

On the coupe with so much breaking power in the front, the rear stays in rigth way when braking???
It wasn't better install the AMG rear brakes too (C30 cdi) ???

For me, I haven't noticed any adverse issues due to the
lesser rears. ESP takes care of that anyway. The increase in braking is most noticeable at high speeds (push hard on the straight, then boom, back down to 30 or 40 as you enter the corner) and when driving hard with constant braking, don't fade. For a time, I was commuting on mountainous backroads, and really came to appreciate the AMG's over stock. Daily straight line driving you won't notice them much.
You do notice the rotors adding to the momentum of the wheels, since they weigh like 30-40 lbs each. You feel it, like gyro's on the front the wheels.

I am working on it right now but I have had a few things come up and I am behind quite a bit.
I will try to have it up by next week.

I use a can of CRC Brake Kleen. It's good stuff and evaporates fast. I don't use it all the time though. For anyone who is interested, the write up is almost done on Eric's site. http://www.installuniversity.com/mb/...brake_drsp.htm
