20 Inch Rims on C Class
I was just wondering if it was possible to put 20's on a c320, i saw nice 20" Giovanna Anzio rims for car applications, they also have 18's, but those are too small for my taste...

I rode in my cousins 2001 GS400 with 19's on it and it rode horrible. it reminded me of that rap song, "BUMP BUMP BUMP" thats all it did all the way down the road.

That C with 20 is located in jakarta, you won't beleive how many pothole the city has, and i don't think it has a nice long smooth road, i live there and i use jeep as my everyday use, can't be bother to use sedan
Loaded with the 225/50/15 race tires, I end up 33 lbs per corner.
A 17 inch SSR Comp wheel weighs around 15-16 lbs. Loaded with a tire it weighs around 38 lbs.
I bet you that a 20 inch street tire weighs around 25 lbs at least. So you end up lugging around 50 lbs vs 38 lbs for a 17 inch.
Almost 50 lbs total for the car and remember that it is unsprung weight and also rotational inertia as well.
Unless it is a show car, handling and acceleration wise you are better off with the smallest/lightest wheel/tire combination that clears your brakes.
Although, on the street I guess handling would be a nonfactor, but acceleration still matters.
, beleive me, it take me some hours to travel some kilometres during peak hours, even the highways are choppy and yes i agree with you, 20's is for show only
stff about bent rims and popped low profiles...then ask if it's worth it, homey

(I suppose next you'll be de-badging it, putting poseur C32 and AMG stickers in the windows and 'type R' decals on the fenders)
