W203 C200 Kompressor
Radio problem
Hello! I own a Mercedes-Benz C200 Kompressor from 2001 (W203). A few days ago the radio stopped working, it just doesn't turn on. I checked all the fuses related to the radio and the sound system... everything seems to be fine... I even replaced some fuses that are working but looked suspicious. Checked everything with a multimeter. The radio power cable has 5 pins. I measured with the multimeter 3rd pin on the second row and it gives 12.5V when ignition is off and around 14 when the engine is running which is normal. Checked the ground aswell from the cable to the chassis (second row, first pin) and it is fine. Tried with an old radio because I thought the problem was in the cassette player but the other radio did not turn on aswell. Yesterday I bought an aftermarket one and it also didn't want to turn on. I've spent a whole day checking everything I could think of without any results... I would be very happy if somebody can explain what's happening and give me a possible fix/solution.
