Rear quarter window TRIM - W203 (coupe)

Hi,
Would anybody have any tips or trick putting back on the lower trim piece on the rear window (kompressor W203 Coupe)? Taking it off was easy, but I've spent countless hours trying to put it on. Sliding it, tilting from the top/bottom. Nothing seems to work. Nothing on youtube, Your help would be appreciated

Thanks

The sill is installed by "hooking" the top of the metal clips, then clicking the bottoms of the clips into place. Tilt the piece away from you (ie "roll" it slightly towards the car), which will allow you to engage the tops of the clips. Then "roll" the sill by pushing the bottom edge of the sill towards the car. The motion is basically the reverse of an old school exterior car door handle.

I remember one of the clips (the one towards the front of the car) being especially hard to engage. I used a long thin screwdriver (inserted from below) to "pop" it into the catches on the sill.

And yes, it was a real pita.

FYI the grease spec at the bottom of the PDF instructions references PN A001-989-46-51, which is the same grease used on the panoramic sunroof (the stuff used everywhere except for the aluminum rails deep inside the grooves by the rear sunroof glass). The dumb part is the dealer only sells the grease in a large tub, which is more than any individual owner will ever need (1 tub can probably service a few hundred vehicles). I imagine any rubber friendly grease should do the job here to be honest. Personally I didn't use any at all.
