Oil change level too high

Oil change level too high
Got 8.2Litres out the car earlier then filled it with 8Litres fresh oil and on the dashboard it says level too high.

should I remove some oil from the system ?
the manual says my car is 8Litres

thanks

Checked a couple hours later and it says Oil OK.. Checked dyno mode and it says 8.0L so I will could take a little bit out
