Rear Bumper Price
I was just wondering if anyone would no an appromiate guess to how much a rear bumper would cost for a 2004 C230 sedan from the dealership. Some **** just left a big *** rock on his drive way and when i backed up into the drive way i hit it.

Fix it!!
There are shops that specialize in fixing bumper covers. They usually tear rather then dent because they're plastic. Even if you buy a new one you'll have to paint it and that's the bulk of the cost. Hope it's OK behind the cover.

Were you drinking?
If it's only a couple of scrapes why would think of getting a new bumper esp. if your worried the price being too high at the dealership?
(BTW..list price, unless you have a wholesale discount or the like, varies little between dealerships)

No harm in getting an estimate if they do quality work and guarantee it..it really wouldn't matter if they usually work on Yugo's..as long as their work is up to par.

The paint work is going to be the most difficult. If they don't know how to paint, nothing else will matter- 'cause a bad paint job will make any repair or even a new bumper worthless.

I'm not going to replace the whole bumper. I was just really mad when it first happened and i wanted a new bumper. But when i acutally became brave enough to look at my scratched beauty it wasnt bad at all. Its just about 3 minor scratches and 1 long scratch...more like tears actually. I just need to get them filled, sanded and painted.
