so, exhaust came in this week, going on tomorrow after work 
we'll see how she sounds (sport/83mm tips, resonator).
initial quality looks ok... pretty beefy muffler and decent welds. 2" pipes... I'm guessing the race pipes are larger?
I'm almost disappointed since the autotech cat-back I had on my dub looked damn near flawless and was in the same price range.

the verdict: quiet as hell inside the car... sounds a little deeper from the rear, and according to my friend, "mean" when I passed him at WOT. had to mod one of the hangers to get it to not touch the bumper on the right side, but other than that, it was a snap install.
bit of a tangent, but is that wimpy little thing ACTUALLY the rear swaybar? it looked only slightly larger than the parking brake lines

Do you wish you had gotten the race for sound reasons or are you happy with the sport? I've been debating between these two exhausts and a SuperSprint...I wish more people in Austin, Tx had modded C's so I could listen.
