It will happen again, next time you'll crash. I'd take it in, it will be cheaper than wrecking the car. Take the first occurence as a warning. Hello.

Okay, I never thought I'd be bumping a thread that was started by a banned member, but this happened to me this morning. Checked the pads and there's still some meat on them at least the front. I thought that maybe the sensor failed and my pads are completely gone, but that's not the case.
So I read through this thread and was wondering where exactly the vacum pump/switch is located. I was gonna try and jack up the car to see.
I'll be checking the fluid too, but was hoping I could resolve this with a DIY rather than taking it into my dealership (since there are a lot of other things I need to fix also that aren't warranty covered).
Any input you guys have or pics or diagrams would be great. Just want to check on whatever I can. Not sure I can make it to the dealership from my house with the brakes acting up.

So anyways, with Glassjaw's help, I was able to trace the vacume line for the brakes. Problem is, everythikng was still connected.
I just hope it goes away long enough for me to bring the car in sometime soon. Otherwise, I'm SOL. I'm gonna re-test everything later today. Brake fluid is at the top, so it's not that either.

Okay, so it seems like the lines are working enough that when I'm rolling at higher speeds 15+, the brakes engage perfectly. This is so strange. I'm gonna have it checked soon (since I'm still under warranty. Just gotta be extra careful right now.
I'll give you all an update once the whole ordeal is done.
