Color Choices For C230K??
Opal Blue is what I have and I love it.
My Husband gave up his E320 and is now considering the C230K. He really likes black, but would definitely consider other color choices.
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

We'll be heading back to the dealer next weekend! Thanks!
Sacguy, flint grey sounds very appealing and I must agree that brilliant silver is, indeed, a classic!
Henry0513, I'm sure my Husband would appreciate the sound of Black Opal, it is his first choice!
Thanks!!!

Flint Grey isn't available on the C-class. Obsidian black is a great color(metallic black, turns a very dark brown in the sun), but I really like Black Opal, that would be my first choice.

White is the best color because it shows all the detail of the body kit where as black and dark colors the detail is not as visible. Also white is classy. Thats what I got.
P.S. you save your self about 700 bucks by picking white All kidding aside, White is my color, thats what I got, let us know what u get

I perfer black opal. I think the metallic colors look best. Just remember dark colors are harder to keep clean and looking their best. Dust and water spots really stick out. However, when its washed and polished, nothing can touch the dark colors!

'04 Mars Red C230K Sport Coupe (not Coup-EH)
I would go with Mars Red, for a number of reasons.
1. If you are getting the coupe, you need a color that goes well with black in the rear of the car ('cause of the rear window). Red does that pretty well.
2. Red is rare. When I was shopping for a used car (I bought my 230 instead), I found 1 car in 50 that was red. Silver, while nice, is far too common.
3. I drove a red BMW for 3 years, and my mother drove it for 13 years before that. She has yet to get a speeding ticket. In addition, my dad has been driving a red 300CE for 17 years now and he has yet to get a speeding ticket. (Parking tickets 'cause of run-out meters are a different story, and no, my parents are not slow drivers :p)
4. Red, when dirty, hides it a bit better than most colors, especially white and black.
5. Red goes well with a tan, charcoal, or black interior. Few colors go well with multiple interiors. Only one it doesn't really go well with is grey.
6. To the Chinese, red is a lucky color. Several million people can't be wrong, now can they? :v

Many people think it's the capri blue, but is slightly different in look than the capri blue. The MBUSA website shows a darker tone to my color than the carpi blue, but in person, it depends on the angle of the light.
What I like most is at night, it looks black, but during the day it's clearly not. When light reflects off of it at night, you can see the hints of blue, but still keeps you guessing what color it is!

Flint Gray E63
I have had many compliments on my Pewter Silver. I like the fact that it's a little darker than Brilliant Silver, but not hard to keep looking good like a black would be....

i was torn between black and silver. i really like the black, but being very **** about my cars, knew that i'd slave myself over it. so i decided on the silver but then saw a beautiful gray one being unloaded off the truck. it was starting to get dark and this color looked hot. turned out to be granite gray. i wasn't sure on it, so i said i'd come back during the day to see it in the light and was totally turned off. had alot of light blue in it so i went silver. wish they had more of a silver gray color. i would've definitely gone with that. i have to say though, although i'm not a big fan of red unless it's a ferrari, the C230k SS looks pretty damn good in it.

We are back from the dealer! PEWTER SILVER wins, but we were torn between all the recommended colors! WE WERE IN LAGUNA NIGUEL FOR FIVE HOURS trying to decide! Thanks again for all your help! When time for our next vehicle, it will be another one of the colors recommended here!

2004 C320 pewter/charcoal

I think I may know what color you were looking at, there was a similar car in the C class that I originally looked at, the color was Desert Platinum. Had a silver/gold mixture. I didn't go for it, kind of reminded me of cars associated with older benz drivers (no offense of course) who go for champagne color, etc.
I chose Pewter (good choice by the way PacificIslander) b/c one, it wasn't as common as all the silver MB's I see around here, 2) looks great both in daylight and takes on a nice color at night 3) don't have to be completely obsessed about swirls, etc which would definitely happen with black.
By the way, what interor color did you choose? Originally when I got the car, I was headed to a light interior color (Ash) and was afraid a darker interior would make the car boling inside during summer. I ended up with Charcoal anyway b/c it was a very nice combination and also wouldn't show dirt as much (the final deciding point was when I was signing the papers, the salesman showed me a woman's car with ash interior that happened to be wearing wet blue jeans and there was blue stain all over the leather which even with buffing couldn't come out.
