This is the "Official" W204 C-Class Picture Thread. Please post all pictures of YOUR C-Class, do not post pictures of cars that are not owned by YOU. Do not post more than 2 pictures of your car. This is better than browsing all the different websites looking for C-Class pictures and going to all the different galleries and clicking on each picture and then hitting the back button! It will be nice to just come here and scroll down the page. Also please only post pictures of your C-Class, it doesn't matter if you own a C300 or a C350! Let's try and keep this thread mainly pictures, and if you have a question about someones C-Class that you see please PM them.

Please note: We have a seperate forum for the W203, so if you own a W203, please post pictures of your W203 in the W203 forum which is located at the top of the main forum list.

C300 Sport, P01, 333, 427 and optional 18's (they're staggered). It's my wifes new car and we're loving every minute of it so far!

congrats on the new car. how much did you ended up paying out of door?

This car is so solid from a design standpoint it's not even funny.

I may be alone on this one, but does anyone else find similarities in the overall look of the W204 next to the W202? It seems as if some of the W202's angular features have rubbed off on the design of the W204. A good thing, if you ask me.

I was thinking the same thing. I have a 99 C280 Sport and when saw the Ash interior with the black dash was thinking damn that looks familiar. I like it alot. Going to check them out in person this weekend.

This car is a bit unusual. Outside it's a US Luxury model including the Lux wheels but with a Sport grill. And no AMG body kit. Inside it appears to be a Sport with the aluminum trim. Was it built in Mexico?

i thought it was odd as well. appears to have a Lux wheel in it too.

The "Lux" in the US is the Elegance package from the general world market, with the Avantgarde's wheels.

The "Sport" in the US is the Avantgarde package in the rest of the world, tarted up with most of the AMG package mods, including the silly looking side skirts, front dam, etc.

What I would love to be able to buy here is the straight EU Avantgarde model - the star grill, simpler interior, but without the AMG "go-fast" add-ons. There are lots of pix of this model, right from the start of this thread, and including the latest shots above.

I recognize that is is probably a minority opinion here....but I think the AMG skirts make the car look bottom-heavy. The wheel choices don't interest me much - I don't do staggered sizes or unidirectional tires.

All you have to do is buy the Sport grille conversion kit ($171) from the dealer and you will have the exterior appearance you want. Which I am considering for my incoming Luxury.

My dealer now has six 204s in the showroom, two white C300 Luxurys with beige Tex interiors, three C300 Sports and a C350 Sport with black/gray and 17" AMG wheels. None with Multimedia, of course. The C350 and one of the white/beige Luxurys are side by side and I must say after comparing the two, it's a slight possibility that I could live with the black/gray interior just to get a 350. I'd have to start all over, needless to say.

This change would cost me an additional $2200.

Yes, very likely. That's a few months away, of course.

My salesman just emailed me that a Barolo Red with beige interior C300 (like mine) has appeared at the dealer today (no leather or Multimedia) so I will be going down tomorrow to see it.

Just modified my C220 CDI to 205HP (Ordered new Pulaha18-inch 5-twin-spoke incenio wheels´) I Winter time i will put 2 lcd screens in back and 1 in front

205 HP, that's awesome. What's the torque rating now?
Was it done via a remap only? Any other way, I guess will be visible to the dealer when you get it serviced and will invalidate your warranty.

My dealer did upgrade my car.. tourqe is about 470Nm, that what they told me in service.

Is it possible to get this price? Some dealers say it is possible in 2 months...

My favorite color car bar none is black. My dealer has a free wash program for the life of the vehical.

Every saturday from 9am-3pm you can get your car hand washed at the dealer for free (plus tip of course) and you get a free donut and drink too.

Another reason why I love black :D

First post and thought i'd share my new purchase. Just last night I got rid of my 04 C230K Sport Sedan black on black for a 08 c350 Obsidian Black and Black MB-Tex interior P02 Package and the 18" AMG 5 Twin Spoke Alloy Wheels they didnt have any with Navigation so I went with the 02 Package. I couldnt be happier!!!

sorry to rain on ur parade... yes the toughest colour to maintain a "clean" look is black..... and guess which colour follows very closely on the list of tough to maintain?

ya u got it....

WHITE... another pain. Another issue with ALL types of white (including the stunning metallic BIANCO FUJI on the Maser Gransport) is it does tend to change to a darker shade with age... all fine & dandy until such time u need to respray tat bumper & realise tat the new paint doesnt match ur bonnet & wheel arch.

Worse still IF some jealous SOB decides to leave a mark on one of ur doors & u need a respray... i.e: the rest of the doors wouldnt match & it will be damn obvious. :hammer:

Oh ya & thos wit Diesel engine C-classes might wanna avoid white... the permanent yellow & black stains on ur rear bumper near ur exhaust will soon show up IF u dont clean ur ride tat much...

heh... sorry for my :topic: rant... but i experienced black & white before... both look gorgeous on most cars.... but the hassle is a real pain.

First i order AMG package that was in may and they canceled my order becuase of you americans guys they were shiping to US . :X
So i take the saloon car.. if i will buy AMG sport package i will get him in FEB 2008 so i should wait almoust a year for it.. Sound of the diesel ..No its not noisy.. and i upgrade it to 205hp so now its like rocket hehe...:naughty:

And, isn't it illegal to cover up the state name and whatever else is on the license plates with the dealer frame? It is in my state.

I would suspect the cover is not legal. The dealer cover is coming off, anyway. We were in a real quandary as to whether to put on the front mount. I've not had one on my WRX for 5+ years without a problem. Deb wasn't so daring, so on it went.

Thanks for the compliment. My camera details and accessories are here. All shots were with the 18-200 except the ones at the house with three garage doors. Those were with my favorite 85mm f/1.4. They have a completely different feel.

I nearly doubted myself after seeing all the black exterior cars on this thread... but then I saw yours and I now have no regrets whatsoever. God that's a HOT car.

C-300 Luxury delivered Wednesday
 

Delivered last Wednesday and so far so good. Applied paint sealer and wax today. Ripped one custom CD into the MM hard drive. Programmed in a few locations in the Nav system. Paired my cell phone and made a few test calls. Installed 70W bulbs in the high beams alongside the Bi-Xenons.

Yup! I had a 2006 Acura TSX with Navi and I loved the car!!! Comparing the 2, the C is a lot more solid on the road while the TSX is hella sporty! Basically, the C is what the TSX would be if it grew up! I also gave up some features moving to the C including memory seats and the sunglasses holder. All in all, the C is an amazing step up, my friend. Go and give it a test drive and I am sure it will convince you that it is better than the TL-S!!!

Here are the cost break-downs:

2006 TSX

Paid: $28,250 on 10/3/06
Sold for: $24,500 on 10/24/07

2008 C350 (Special ordered, hence not much of a break)

Paid: $43,500 +++ on 10/31/07.
MSRP: $43,950

Thanks for the info, I really love the TSX, but the new C, just too sexy to pass up! I used to drive a TL before TSX, and TSX's much more fun and sporty, I already ordered a C300 4Matic to build, and have to sell the TSX in 2 months, I wish I didn't have to though..

interesting, I'm in the same boat ...ordered my C300 4Matic, but now have to sell my TSX .... it's got high mileage so that's not going too well ... maybe I'll just trade it afterall.

I'm liking the comparison though ... can't wait for the "trade up"

Moved from an Acura to a MB as well. Compared to the C350W4M, the TL felt large and loose. It started out as a great car, but just didn't hold up well over the four years. Lots of squeaks and rattles. The Honda V6 is still silky smooth though.

I got C300 Luxury 4Mactic with PII / MM / Black Int. / Palladium Silver Ext. 2 weeks ago for my wife. Howerver, so far, my wife only drove once from dealer to home and I have been driving for the rest. hehe :naughty: Anyway, here are the pictures. These pictures also show with luxury grill and after sport grill replacement. I have to say that my wife and I are very impressed and very happy with this car.

Here is my baby, picked up two weeks ago. I'm going back to the dealer because they barely tinted the windows.

For C300 4Matic, the 18" AMG upgrade is $3200 on MB web site

But I really like that 7 twin-spoke stock more than the 18" 5 twin spoke AMG - there are too many of those 18" AMG around!! making the 7 spoke a rarity.

See you got the lip spoiler and the chrome handles! My exact mods as soon as I get the car :)

Love the looks the Benz is getting in the pics, nothing like driving a car that gets noticed!

There is a big difference when you see it for real. I will try to take better pics and post them. BTW: I paid $180.00 for painting but removed the grill and took off all the chrome strips and the star - pain in the ass because of all the delicate tabs.

I was told by the dealership for the 4matic, they don't upgrade the wheels because it's 4matic.

Congratulations! Very nice vehicle and I like the rims. The Euro plate seems to be hanging a little high though. :)

It's just temporary until my temporary dealer tags expire. They are just fixed using velcro and mounted in that location to hide the existing screw holes.

That is kind of cool though driving around with European tags. Everyone will know your car came straight from Europe specially made and be impressed.

Thanks peabers, I'm sooooo happy with the car (still trying to figure out how to get my driving lights to be like in your avatar though ... the knob thing is kinda confusing to a German newbie) ...

I think the chrome handles make it look distinctive, especially as TO gets flooded with C's. So far people seem to respond well to them as well ... really adds some nice dimension to the side view.

So far one of the most interesting comments is the car looks like a Tuxedo ... White, Black accents, Sharp and Sleek, and of course, Bow-Tie (Star) in the middle. Kinda works!

And yes, -10 last night, but that was after a drive on the 400 ... I literally just got home when I took the pic. Hoping for better weather on my frist day to work with it tomorrow.

I guess these can be the official pics of the car for now.

I like the lower spoiler better, though the paint doesn't seem to perfectly match.

They're the same, or should be ... I think it's just the angle of the pics ...if you notice peabers trunk looks more curved upward than mine. The spoiler better be OEM!!! I bought it from my dealer, and they did the paint... I must admit in some (artificial) lights the paint does look different. I was going to ask my dealer about that ... at least I know it's not just primer (I hope) :)

Is it just me or are we seeing this large orange corner marker in different locations on different cars? Is this a Europe vs. US thing? I actually dont like this big corner lens and am hoping that SOON they will come out with a clear one so I can change it out.

Pano sunroof - Ok, It would have been nice. But this was the only C on the lot that was the color I wanted, and didn't have the crappy front plate drilled into the bumper. Wrote a check and drove it off the lot 20min later. ;)

The smaller spoiler is what we got on our C300 as an option. I didn't know they had two different spoilers at the time I ordered it. The bigger one is on the C350. Thats the one we wanted originally. The smaller one is nice but Honey likes the bigger spoiler.:naughty:

Hey Stiggs... are those the OE winter mats from MB that you got? Doesn't look like much of a side lip to catch the snowmelt.

No....those are from my W209 CLK55. I never used them so I gave them to my Fiance. All of them fit perfect except the drivers side front. I had to cut it out a bit around the gas pedal. Waiting to see if my dealer can hook me up with just one drivers side front mat. Until then these work just fine.

So I guess they would have fit a W203 better since they are OEM.

I'd take the CDI over the Kompressor any day of the week, especially where I live.

It's a nice looking car but I think it needs the 18inch wheels the 17's look a tad too small.

I have the factory winter mats, and you are right, there isn't a real tall side lip to catch snow drip, but so far, its been ok here is Chicago land..we have had about 4 decent snows, and so far the rugs underneath are still clean..

Nice clean car. What's the wood in the interior? Burl Walnut? My Bird's Eye Maple looks more grey/green.

we ordered the burl walnut but it didnt come out as they said it would be, i cant remember, but i think the dealer said they couldnt get the bur walnut, i think its the birdeye maple, i think the flash just changed it.

I was disappointed by the iPod adapter when I picked up my car yesterday - I will post pics tonight...It was just like my Enfig adapter I had on my Jetta except with the only advantage of the display and the controls on the steering wheel...

As mentioned in the other threads, the volume is very low compared to the regular stereo volume - so brace yourself when you switch between stereo / Sirius and iPod....I shall call the dealer for the amp on Monday...

Otherwise - ITS ONE HELLUVA SWEET SEXY CAR...am LOVING it!!! :):)

No, didn't get a cradle. All she got is whats in that pic.:nix: Does seem kinda cheesy. Not sure if there's more to it than just a connector and cable.

love the tint ... is it becuase it's "ceramic" that it looks mirrored, or is that what Optik means? I'm hoping to do my tint, and I like that look vs the regular dark look

Yes it's a little reflective and not as dark as regular 35% tint, I thought it's a little too light in the beginning but it certainly looks different from those regular dark tint. But should be very useful in the summer due to its ceramic property.

My factory installed iPOD adapter looks just like yours - only a connector. Kinda disappointing for a MB :nix:

US model here. Mine was factory installed as well. I received the adapter AND still have the original MP3 plug! I plan to buy the craddle as soon as I can find one online as my iPod Touch slides around in my glovebox and I really don't want to scratch it up.

hey guys i just got a silver c300 4matic and i was wondering if anyone knows how you program the car to fold its mirrors when i turn off the car or perhaps when i lock the car? thanks

Hi. Um, it's hard to do from memory, for me. Let me see. Your manual would probably help too. Are you sure you have the power mirrors? If you do:

Scroll to the right on your driver display until you get to something like "settings," or system. THen look under that category, sorry, I could do it in 5 seconds in the car, but I can't think of what they name everything. Hope you can find it.

I have it turned on too. However, I wonder if I should turn it off, to preserve the motor?

I turned mine off because I had an experience where there was ice on mirrors overnight and the mirrors would not unfold. I had to spend 20 minutes chipping off the ice to get the motor to finally work. Since then I turned off the auto-fold and just manually fold them when I need to.

i saw that theyve already made CL63 replica rims for the new C-Classes. can anyone photoshop that? i think it would look sweeeet. i thought about trading my CL500 for a new C350. but still keeping my options open. perhaps a used E55, CLS55. but for now, my CL will do. my credit/debt is eating me up alive.

on another note: the front handle looks unproportioned to the rear(vice-versa). looking at it from a side profile. both grills look good (CL-style and traditional) although the traditional kinda makes the car look like a cadillac in some ways.

I saw some window visors on ebay for $500 from a company called Yanase which is a japanese company but i think thats way toooo much for window visors so i might have to just wait. its been 2 weeks since I got my new car

I personally want to purchase a couple parts myself from the upcoming
C63 AMG ie black housing headlights, 19-inch AMG light-alloy wheels, and the EU brushed metal foot pedals (my car didn't come with that as standard)

and currenly looking for something that can replace that hideous US side reflectors (reminds me of the reflectos on bicycle wheels)

are those fogs after market? films? or are they stock like that in ur region

Thanks. My friend has a bodyshop in San Francisco and he painted them for me for free. Actually it just a thin layer of gray followed by clear coat. So now I have to wax the taillights as well.

if you want to be able to revert back to stock, you should try lamin-x films...that way if it looks like mangina, you can easily remove it...

I think one cheap way to get that effect is with this Chrome Rear taillight and maybe spray paint the chrome black?

Hi - her's a couple more pics - painted grill black and fitted 18" copy wheels. I figure if I kerb them I could replace easier. I've a tunit kit fitted taking power to about 200bhp and keeping the average fuel consumption to a respectable 42mpg. I would like a rear spoiler and like to know if the AMG 6.3 steering wheel would fit my humble diesel.

I just love taking a peak at this thread because it shows how good looking the new C class is :) and in a variety of colors :) im not sure how the rest of you feel but even after ive owned my car for 5 months now i still enjoy taking a peak over my shoulders after parking her and seeing how sweet she looks :) dunno perhaps its still the "newness" of the car but id like to think even after a few years itll still look just as sexy :)

yea i know i take a couple of looks back when i walk away after parking her too, just to make she she's still there lol. but yea it looks so good for a sedan.

I've been lurking here for a couple of weeks and admiring the photos. Although the C-Class never caught my eye, the new restyled model is growing on me. I definitely like the lower profile of the C300-Sport.

After 2 Acuras, I was considering the new TSX but so disappointed with the rehashed old style and narrowed choice to IS250 and A4...until I discovered the new C300 Sport.

Since I travel frequently for my business, reliability is very important as breakdowns in Tucumcari, NM is not good. The Acuras were superb on that point.

My question, I've read MB's quality has suffered in recent years and want to get some feedback from real owners.

Thanks for comments and I REALLY love the photos - even have the C300 Sport as wallpaper on my comouter now. The MB fever is catching!
