iPhone and W204 iPod Adapter
FYI, does not work.
The iPhone reported that the attached accessory was not compatible. (same error as when I plug it into my Alpine iPod adapter).
Tested it today at Keyes MB in Van Nuys, CA. I did not have the opportunity to pair the Bluetooth functionality.

I am very interested in the W204 as a replacement for my wife's C320. This topic is interesting to me.
For what it's worth, I have the MB bluetooth puck adapter in my ML500, my iPhone works great with it. Contacts transferred, it connects easily and operates well. My previous phone, a Nokia did work but I could not access the contacts on the Comand unit.
I can't wait to see a W204 in person. I was told by my dealer they'd have one in soon. I was also told it would not be possible to order the multimedia package until November. I don't put much stock in what they tell me... I was told many things I couldn't do such as adding Sirius to my ML etc. I did them anyway and they worked out fine.

Yes, it is quite strange because it reported working with BMW BT system. BMW BT is crappy and works with only limited number phones. Can it be some mistake?

we tried it out and it worked perfectly. via ofcourse bluetooth.
We tried a MotoQ, 8125 and treo 700wx and they all worked. I will try the blackberry 8830 this week.

It works for me... for the most part.
Check out my thread here @ Apple:

I wish I could alter the subject line of this thread now... It's more of a bluetooth thread than an iPod adapter thread.

The iPhone didn't work with the ipod music adapter... that was the whole point of this thread. Click on the link to the apple discussions above. I had to use a different phone to transfer the contacts when using the iPhone as a bluetooth device.

I was at C Drive today and the iPhone SAID the accessory wouldn't work and asked to be put in airplane mod, but it DID work! I was able to control it from the steering wheel controls. The integration isn't that seemless, but it did work. Jose (mig888) even took pics of it from the cluster.

The second time I went to see the car, my iPhone did integrate just fine. I don't think the contact list downloads, but it does integrate. I guess I wasn't doing something right the first time.
