W204 C300 vs my 06 C350

I drove the C300 demo today and came back with mixed feelings.
The car is impressive looking and I liked the Palladium Silver
The vinyl interior looked cheap compared to my leather C350
Everything seemed roomier including the trunk but the trunk side pockets are gone
The fixed rear headrests didn't interfere as much as I thought they would
The Command screen location is outstanding
The large outside mirrors are fine although they are ugly
The 300 engine is adequate but I can't see giving up my 350 performance since I don't want the Sport version
Driving the car made me feel like I was in an E Class but witout the elegance
Steering response didn't seem as sharp as my C350
The brakes seemed to almost grab. They are either over boosted or the pads need to be worn in
The manual steering wheel adjuster and lack of seat memory may be fine for those who haven't had those features but without them is a deal breaker for me
The C300 Sport is an incredible improvement over the C230's. I believe it will be one of the most successful models ever produced by MB. I'm looking forward to seeing the Luxury version to see if it has the seat memory and power steering wheel adjustment. I fear that it won't.

the brakes on the W204 looked smaller too, but I can't seem to find exactly how big they are

For the C300:

Brakes Dual-circuit power-assisted 4-wheel disc brakes. Front: 11.6" ventilated - single-piston floating. Rear: 11.8" ventilated - single-piston floating.

if what amg07 is correct, and my observations agree, the brakes are much smaller on the W204 than the W203 sport sedans.
