As I walked through my dealer's storage lot today I spotted a new arrival and wonder of wonders it had a cashmere beige (Tex) interior. First one I've seen and it really looks good and it will be even better in my car in leather. It's a white car with the wheels I didn't think I would like but they are not as bad as I thought, but they will still have to go. The grille also looks better than the pictures. This particular car will be a dealer trade and is heading to the dealer in Sacramento. I wonder what they will get in return.

I now have a trade-in figure for my C320 from the dealer plus a buyer so that headache is behind me. Since my car's production date is this week, the wheels are truly in motion at long last.

I never noticed that the Lux version has a mini star on the top part of the chrome grille.

Man I was hoping steel gray would not be that popular, the one next to it is my exact car. The only other 204 I've seen on the road was another steel gray. I bet the sports in the end are more popular than the luxury, just like the 203's.

I hope so so that five or six years down the road when it's time to buy another one, all of the MANY gray or black ones will be competing against each other for buyers. My metallic red car will be hard to duplicate.

That's something that Mercedes is going back to. The much older cars always had this, and then they took it away for most of the 90s and early 00s. They added the small star on the grille back to the W221 and then the facelifted W211 for 2007 MY, now the luxury version of the W204.

However, they added this small grille star in place of the wreath around the base of the hood star. I noticed that for 2008 Mercedes has also changed the wheel centers to the blue star with the laurel wreath instead of a plain silver star.

Yes, it is. I haven't got the time to drop by and take a look at the C300 luxury. I'm really eager to see it.

Well I'll need to check at my dealer as well....I was waiting to see if before placing my order because I'd really prefer the Luxury interior to the Sport, but I decided it wasn't necessary after deciding on getting the 350.

We'll see, maybe it'll change my mind in time to alter the order before it gets built.
