Second hand prospect lurkers?

Just wondering if there were any here looking to get a second hand W204 in the future??? I ask for <this reason and also because these people wouldn't be the first to say anything. From the looks of it, the W204 has the potential to be a stellar second hand buy.

no not a joke. Every car I have bought new I got for close to 6-8K off after about 6-8 months

if you have not heard an automobile is about the worst thing you can buy next to a boat. Cars depreciate VERY quickly the first 2 years

Car sales are already down - in every price range.

it's going to be a tough 4th quarter and the spring doesn't look like it will be much better unless something drastically changes int he next 4 weeks

soooooo no it's not a joke, anyone will be able to get one cheap by spring/early summer

right now in high demand you can get 1500-2K off a NEW one and they just were released when demand is high

perhaps you have not been paying attention

after 2 years the C55 was worth about 25K$ less with low miles - pay attention to how you spend your money

Very well said! I agree completely with your every word here.

I personally will wait, a few years and see what we don't get down the road as far as options and features. I don't have to be the first in line, though I'm sure it's nice. I kind-of have always prided myself on watching how I spend my money and finding value.

not only that, but the options that I want I thought were going to be hard to find but after looking through many dealer inventories I was pleasantly surprised to see how many had all the options above!

I don't know about that so much. Maybe it's where I'm located, but nobody's moving off msrp.

My wait will be longer - I'm waiting for a used one with memory seats - if I don't change my mind between now and then.

My wait will be even longer. I picked up my '06 C55 in September of last year with 10k miles for $20k below msrp. I am going to hold out for a one year old second year C63.

I've been avoiding purchasing a brand new car due to its depreciation. Let alone a brand new car of a brand new model. Most likely my next purchase will be a one year old first year or second year C63.

That's correct. Wow you're really good in math.
I don't mind waiting a little bit because I don't have the needs to purchase a new car every year, yeah I know, I'm weird that way.
