Picked up a C350 Last night
Hey Everyone,
The wife and I just drove home in a 08 C350 last night from the dealership. I was going to order one with P2 and MM when I found that one was available at a dealer not too far from me. Though it was not the original color I was looking for, it was a 2nd choice color. But it looks great and had what I wanted so we drove it home! I'll post some pics when I get a chance! |
Congrats on the new car.
So the dealer actually had an available 350 with P2 and MM already in it? Wow...there's hope yet for those of us who are waiting. |
Congrats! :y
|
thanks guys!
Yea, to my suprise that there was one at the dealer. They actually have a several 300/350 sports but only one 350sport w/ p2+mm and a 300 sport with p2,mm, leather, ipod, pana, and auto. They came out to be pretty much the same price so I chose to go w/ the 350. Its a great ride. I'm a converted BMW driver also. So for those of you waiting for yours to arrive. Its worth the wait. The car is great! |
congrats on the purchase. Any pics? :)
|
Congrats! What color did you get? What color was the C300 they had?
|
Congrats, +1 for the pic's.
What was your first choice in colour and your first impressions when you drove it home. |
Something in common...
I also picked up a 350 Sport last night. Steel Grey, 18" AMG wheels w/ MM. It's on order and I should hopefully be able to pick it up in about 6 weeks. I'm a newbie to the Benz world and to this forum.

Congrats on the new purchase! What was your first choice in color and what did you end up with? I wish the dealer had the MM when I got mine but I could'nt wait so I got it without MM but I still love it! Let's see some pics
|
Congrats to you too ryanrohaley!
my first color choice was white and white only. However after seeing the palladium silver it was easily my 2nd favorite. After contemplating either taking the palladium silver or waiting 60-90 days for a white one... I realized that I was quite impatient. :D Plus the nice sales guy at the dealership was willing to 'work' with me on the deal. First drive home was great. I was suprised at how tight the suspension was on the C. The acceleation on the 350 is definitly noticeable compared to the 300 even though it seems like it wouldn't be. I drive a E46 M3 from 02-04 so I was happily suprised with the way it felt and drove. Not that it can compare with an M3 but it was able to keep me from reminessing about the old car. Didn't really try to rip up the roads or turn it loose yet. However, I'm sure it'll be great fun when its time. Muzic, the other 300sport that was there at the dealer was also palladium silver. will try to take some pics tomrrow if the weather is nice! |
Without pics of your bada$$ 350 ... :thread:, come on man, we wanna see it! And next we wanna know what's the first mod? I say do the ECU tune!!!

Drove a palladium silver C300 sport home a few days ago. Love it! I'm wondering though, as I posted in the tech forum earlier it doesn't seem to roll freely, like the parking brake is on just a bit. Service guy says it's normal. Do you have the same impression?

Here are a few I snapped this morning.

Very nice car....love those AMG rims. The one thing MB REALLY got right was putting those 17's standard on the 350.
|
Very nice! Can you take some shots of the inside as well?
|
Congrats on the new ride...

Congrats on the new car! If you are buying any aftermarket rims and want to sell your stock wheels, let me know. I have dibs on them. :)

The ADAPTIVE BRAKE hydraulic dual-circuit braking system is electronically controlled, allowing support functions for enhanced safety and comfort. HOLD function Once the saloon has been braked to a stop, simply keeping the brake pedal depressed for a short time activates the HOLD function. The vehicle is then held in position by the brake - even when the driver removes his foot from the brake pedal. In this way the HOLD function prevents the vehicle from rolling forward unintentionally at traffic lights or in stop-and-go traffic. The holding function is switched off automatically when the accelerator pedal is depressed. I think this is what you are getting at. |
Wow! Hot, hot, hot! Those are the 17" AMG double spokes? Are they also offering an 18" option? I haven't seen that.

The 17's come standard on the 350 and the 18's are optional on the 350 and most 300's. |

Oooooooo! I'm getting the same interior and I must say, the black maple is simply amazing! My current car has the 'aluminum' trim and while I like it, I think the wood has a much more elegant look to it. Congrats! |
