Anybody else have a hard time with car seat?

Almost seems like the mb-tex is too stiff/slippery for the car seat to bite into when you're kneeling on it to get the latch straps tightened.

Latch anchors are bit close together too.

What are latch straps?

The MB Tex (I have it in my C350) is a little more slippery than leather, but not by much. You might want to try to position youself differently when you latch up the car seat - maybe you can wedge youself against the back of the front seat while you latch it. I can see that this could be an issue - primarily because the firmness of the seats offer resistance to getting the latches to mesh with the seat.

Not a problem. I got mine in without any issue. Of course mine is not one for a baby but for a toddler.

I was able to get our toddler seat in a little bit better finally. Still not perfect. We've got a narrow design seat (radian 80) and the latch anchors are close enough together that they interfere with installation.

It's hard to describe. I ended up having to get a matt to go underneath the seat so that it had something to grip onto.
