20s

do any body know if it is possible to put 20s on this car

TEAShea 10-09-2007 12:23 PM

It is possible but not advisable. 20" are very heavy and significantly reduce the handling of the car. The less unsprung weight a car has, the better the suspension is able to control the wheels, the faster the suspension reacts, the less intertia there is and the better the car handles.

It may be possible, but you may damage your car, risk bad ride quality and handling. One thing you can be certain of though, it will violate every rule of taste.

j_belll 10-25-2007 07:38 PM

smart decision? probably not.

20"s, if its done proper will not damage the car. 19" - 20" same wheels, will only differ so much in weight. Just go with the 20"s now, so you wont have to do it again later.

vcruiser 10-27-2007 04:27 PM

they look a little too big for the car. makes it too high from the ground.
19'' is the way to go! in my opinion

The first one looks really good. I think i've seen wheels like those on ebay for pretty cheap.

GPI 10-29-2007 01:29 AM

Those wheels are from CL65s and I've planned to get them. I'm just wondering whether they will look too big on a C-class. What do you guys think?

Wow that AMG wheels looks the business.

GPI: Just do it, and slam it :D
