I hope that they don't, the bigger the wheel the rougher the ride. 17s are perfectly fine. If you want larger than that you get the optional AMG wheels or something aftermarket.

If the past is any indication, the rims will be the same for quite some time. Plus if they were to go with 18's standard, they would lose all the money on people upgrading on accessories.

I'm perfectly OK with the 17's that are coming on mine....most tires that I would consider putting on this car (I'm concerned about longevity) will fit the 17's, but not the 18's.
