What mods do you have planned?

what do u guys plan on doing to your 204s

i get mine in february and so far i want

tints
paint the grey part of the grille black until the i can get a c63 grille!
rims (19'' 360 forged carbon fiber)
slightly smoke the taillights
coilover or springs!
get a clear reflector for the front bumper cuz the orange one totally cramps the style

what do you guys have in mind

I'm considering a medium tint ~ 35% and the MB Illuminated Door Sills.

Has anyone found any of the sills yet for W204 (besides at the dealership)?

i got 5 % limo on the back windows and light on the front windows at "CHP approved "level so i dont get pulled over...

looks good, but definitely cant see as good at night out the back... dont know if its worth it or not...

I want to lower the car a little bit & put some wheels on it... however how can i lower the car w/o voiding the MB warranty??

akusnowo 11-01-2007 12:47 PM

just got my car last night, c300s P1,auto. Lining up H&R spring, and HID (which requires resetting the CPU), tint, 20" wheels, and maybe dual exhaust tips (which requires trimming the lower bumper).

Mercedes-Benz engineers did a great design job on my C350, so the only mod I will do is apply Zaino products to keep it looking great.

Waiting to see if the C63 grill will fit the C300. From the pictures it looks possiable. They appear to be about the same size, but the C63 grill is two pieces and the C300 is one. Also have been looking into the chrome door handle inserts, but no one has done this mod yet so I'm not sure it will look good on such a small car, it looks killer on a GL.

+ 1 except I have to have tints... tints are necessary on a white car, and for enhanced privacy...

50% front and 5% back,

maybe some illuminated door sills from my dealer at employee discount, but thats not really a mod...

i also want to see what the chrome door inserts would look like on a white c350.... or the chrome mirror covers for the side mirrors... tempted, but know they are just gonna be fingerprint magnets, especially the door handles

Mods I have done

1) mufflers removed
2) engine detailed for show competition - ie screw caps, wire covers, paint, all decals removed, etc

C63 grille

<<Waiting to see if the C63 grill will fit the C300. From the pictures it looks possiable. They appear to be about the same size, but the C63 grill is two pieces and the C300 is one.>>

Given that the C63's nose is different with a different hood and fenders to squeeze in the V-8, It's unlikely.

I was thinking the same thing, but then I realized that to save money the headlights are the same, so that could mean that the grill opening is the same as well. The C63 grill is two pieces though, a top and a bottom, so it appears larger, but you also have to notice that it is two slats and the standard sport grill is three slats, could be optical illusion. If anything, maybe just the bottom part of the C63 grill will fit, without the top portion, it would still look good.

I just installed a clear bra and also tinted my windows 20% all around except the front. I really like the car after it is tinted. :)
