Steering Wheel Controls

Can anyone confirm if the controls on the steering wheel are back-lit?

I don't think I've ever seen a night shot of the interior.

Any pics would be appreciated :)

+1 on some good night shots!

I do not think that they are backlit. I have been driving my C350 since August and have never notice.

They are backlit on all my ML I would assume they are on all models..how else would you use them at night lol. As for pictures, going to be tough to get a picture of them, they are very dim and you couldn't use a flash would defeat the purpose. Good luck with anyone that can though:y

Yes, the steering wheels controls are backlit.

they're backlit; i'll try to take and post some pictures tonight (Ca time).
I've got the bare-bones, no MM interior, so don't expect much :)

They are definitely back lit, but you can adjust the intensity with the button on the dash, maybe you have yours turn down or even turned off.

Please show some pics. I will like to see how all this lights and gizmos looks during the night. a picture of the whole console will be great:naughty:

Here are some interior lights on a C350, black plastic interior, bare-bones, no options, no door lights, no multimedia (just the 3500cc:D)

I'm a total airhead... while in a hurry to get the shots, I forgot to open the audio dislpay cover!

In any case, I think the interior lights look much nicer in real life than do in the photos I've linked below. I know there is an option of door lights, or something like that... wish someone could post pictures of those as well.

Both driver and passenger's reading lights ON; Front interior light is OFF.

woa, those are awesome pics ...I love the secod last one, since that's how I would be driving ...no other lights ... but man, is that backlight nice .. I kinda like that it's not white/blue or red ...

chilledbenz 11-08-2007 10:26 PM

Props on the pics, I knew it wouldn't be easy getting pictures of dim lights in a dark car but you did a great job.:y
