Pictures don't do justice for the 2008 C Class
For all those who are interested in the new C class, I picked mine up this morning and the pictures that I've seen don't do justice for the car. You have to see it in person. I was given the run down of all the options and I fell in love. Simply seeing my baby in the show room waiting for me as I signed all the papers was heaven. I'll post pictures up as soon as I can but you have to see it in person. It's a true beauty. For all New Yorkers, I recommend the Ray Catena dealership in New Jersey. The showroom is a site to be seen. I'll post those pictures as soon as can.

I have an opposite feeling. C is so beautiful on pictures, but when you see it in person, you can hardly distinct it from some Hondas. Anyway, I'm glad that you like the car in person. Enjoy your ride.

lol... that might have been me. I pretty much received it in 3 weeks as I was bumped up because someone else had cancelled theirs. Their loss, my gain I guess. My dealer threw in the all season floor mats, a mercedes EZ Pass housing and a mercedes suitcase as a gift. He was really sweet and the manager was really nice. Once again, I highly recommend the Ray Catena dealership in New Jersey. They really take care of you over there.

which Catena?
Which Catena MB in Jersey? Edison or Union? Haven't been to the Edison one in a long time, but they have like a mercedes museum upstairs, with some pretty nice collectors cars - gullwings, 30's anfd 40's mercs, etc.
The Union dealership is pretty new, last year or so, and has its storeroom upstairs, which makes it easy to view inventory in the cold or etc. And the place is HUGE! they had like 4 c-classes on display, and another 4 immediately outside in the prep/test drive area, another dozen or so upstairs.
Well, wonder if their overhead had anything to do with them not having any discussion about invoice-plus for negotiations when I bought there Saturday afternoon.
Enjoy! And maybe see on the weekly free carwash.

Uhm... First off, don't call me dude. I'm a lady and secondly, they come standard on C300 4matics buddy and I do plan on changing them during the summer. I drive in Manhattan so this set I don't really care for.

I love those stock wheels...to each their own I guess. They look great, plus you don't have to worry about curbing them. Also have to realize that if your in a climate that has any snow what so ever your going to just sit and spin in low profile 18''s anyway.

Your car looks great, but I think the car looks best in any of the metallic colors personally. I own a company and all of my work trucks are in boring white, at the end of the day I'm glad I can pop the garage door open and see my Black Porsche and my Steel Gray Benz posted up. Actually my wife and I really wanted Mars Red, but were worried we would be stuck with it if we wanted to sell the car later.

Ora,
Congrats on your new C300.
Regarding the car looking better in person than in photos, I've also have noticed this. I think many of the pictures we have seen were made with a wide angle lens from certain angles which tends to severely distort. Although using a normal focal length lens would eliminate the distortion, I do think there is something about this car that doesn't get conveyed in a photo.
Also, if you notice, a white car such as yours (and mine) has those black panels that redefines the shape of the car. That may be part of what we're seeing.
