Dimple in seat back of passanger side of c350 MB tex appears out of nowhere

this dimple or actually pimple, since it protrudes outward slightly, is coming out of the seat back of my passenger side mb tex.. it is on the part where the passangers middle left upper back would touch the seat...

it is about 3/8" wide and raised approximatly 1/8-1/4" and is noticeably visible from distances up to 6-8 feet... when i push it it goes in and comes right back out... cant feel anything even pushing it up, have no idea how it got there, and think it just popped up out of nowhere one day....

maybe something mechanical from the inside caused this???

either way i hope the dealer can fix it at my first service.... for free they better

Probably part of the headrest or lumbar support structure has come adrift. It's a warranty claim. Perhaps they will replace the seatback.

Try rubbing some Proactive on it, that should clear it up :p:

Is it on the rear seats or on the passanger seat. If it is on the rear seat, do you fold your seats to have more trunk space? Folding your seats can cause this kind of damage.
