Everyone bu MB

The JD Powers satisfaction survey is out. Mercedes is nowhere on the list in any category for any model. Audi is there. BMW too. Check for Porsche, even VW. But no Merc. And don't say they don't produce enought volume or something, audi is there and porsche too. And yes, JD Powers ain't exactly like the most 150% accurate reflection on the world, but to not place a single car on a popular satisfaction survey speaks volumes, no matter which way you cut, slice or dice it.

Most Satisfying

  • Small Cars: Honda Fit, Volkswagen Rabbit
  • Family Cars: Toyota Prius, Toyota Camry Hybrid, Ford Fusion V6 (AWD), Saturn Aura
  • Large Cars: Hyundai Azera, Toyota Avalon
  • Upscale/Luxury Cars: Lexus LS 460, Acura TL Type-S, BMW 330i/335i (sedan), Infiniti M35 RWD, Lincoln MKZ (AWD)
  • Sports Cars/Roadsters: Porsche Boxster, Porsche Cayman, Chevrolet Corvette, Mini Cooper S (hatchback), Honda S2000, Porsche 911 Carrera, Mazda MX-5 Miata, Audi S4, Mini Cooper (Convertible), Ford Mustang (V8), Volkswagen GTI, Mini Cooper (hatchback)
  • Coupes/Convertibles: BMW 335i (RWD), Volkswagen Eos
  • Wagons/ Hatchbacks: Mazdaspeed3
  • Minivans: Toyota Sienna, Honda Odyssey
  • SUVs: Lexus RX350, Ford Edge, Toyota Land Cruiser, Chrysler Aspen (4WD), Hyundai Santa Fe, Toyota RAV4 (V6), Toyota 4Runner (V6)
  • Pickup Trucks: Honda Ridgeline, Toyota Tundra (V8)

Well... everyone that I know that has a benz has so much love for their car, including myself... I think that all that matters.

Upscale/Luxury Cars: Lexus LS 460, Acura TL Type-S, BMW 330i/335i (sedan), Infiniti M35 RWD, *Lincoln MKZ (AWD)*
Most of thos i can understand... but a Lincoln? They are town cars not Upscale/Luxury. My 2cents

I did a lot of research before making a move and ordering a C350 and I came to realize that there is A LOT of bias out there against MB. Look at the latest Car & Driver rag, they compared a C300, not the C350, against the competition like the 335i. Please! :slap:

Most stand alone reviews of the car I found raved about it, sure they nit-picked certain things (interior looks, lack of mem seats, etc..) but they praised it in the end. But when it comes time to compare it to another car...

How much to you want to bet that when the C63 comes out, they won't compare that to the 335i.... No, that wouldn't be 'fair'.... :smash:

At least we have sites like this to comfort us! :rolf:

The only important judgement is the one I make about my cars and if they were defective I wouldn't buy them.

I am not interested in hearing that one owner writes a bad report about the MB.

Few journalists make qualified judgements, because these cars are given to them. Let them pay for these cars with their own money, then we talk.

They probably all drive then Ladas, because they are inexpensive.

Who cares. This is a great car, period!

And why would a W204 be on this list anyway? It's such a new car I'm sure they wouldn't have enough data yet...

+1, and some sleeps with BMW bosses.
